Why should I use the Garden City Games website?

Facebook has announced that Canvas games will be discontinued on September 30, 2026.

Our official website: playgardencitygames.com, is now the main home for all Garden City Games titles.

We recommend always starting your game from our website to ensure uninterrupted access in the future.

Why does my game say “Coming Soon”?

If your game shows “Coming Soon”, it means it is not yet fully playable directly on the Portal.

For now: 

• Clicking the game may open it on Facebook.
• You can continue playing as usual. 

We encourage players to start accessing their games through our website from now on.

Should I start my game from Facebook or the Portal?

We recommend starting your game from: playgardencitygames.com

Even if the game currently opens on Facebook, beginning on our website ensures a smooth transition before Facebook Canvas ends.

Can I still play on Facebook?

Yes. Until September 30, 2026, Facebook Canvas games may still be available.

During this transition period:

• Some games may open on Facebook. 
• Some games may already be playable directly on the Portal.

Over time, all games will move fully to the Portal.

Will I lose my progress?

No. Your progress is securely stored on our servers.

When you log in using Facebook Login on our website, your progress, achievements, and purchases will automatically load.

Why does the Portal still use Facebook Login?

Facebook Canvas (where the game runs inside Facebook) is ending.

Facebook Login (used to identify your account) will continue to work.

Using Facebook Login allows:

• No new account creation
• Automatic progress retrieval
• A simple and secure transition

How will purchases work on the Portal?

When games become fully playable on the Portal, purchases will be processed through a secure and trusted payment system. 

Your payment information is handled safely, and we do not store your card details on our servers.

Are my previous purchases safe?

Yes. All valid purchases linked to your account will remain available when you log in to the Portal.

What happens after September 30, 2026?

After this date:

• Facebook Canvas games will no longer be playable.
• The Portal will be the official place to continue playing.
• Your progress will remain available when you log in. 

Do I need to download anything?

No. All games run directly in your web browser on a desktop or laptop.
